The Start of a Vision Board
I started a vision board last night and was surprised to discover how many interests I have that require good physical fitness to pursue successfully. The first few things I put on my board were photos of salsa dancing, scuba diving, cliff diving into the sea, and running on the beach. I really want to be able to do these things and more!

Before Photos at 230 Pounds
I'm getting myself ready for a transformation in many ways. This blog is to document my physical transformation as I lose 100 pounds over the next 15 months. My goal is to be a healthy 13o lbs. on April 1st 2011. I figure if I lose an average of 1.5 to 2 pounds a week, I should be able to reach my weight goal. I do expect to lose more during the initial couple of weeks and anticipate hitting plataus later down the road. However, if I continue to stay on track over the course of the next 15 months, I expect to see significant results and a major difference in my look and health by April 2011. My official start date will be January 3, 2010. At this time, I anticipate posting photos at the beginning of each month, so that I can visually monitor my progress. My weight has kept me from doing many things in the last few years and overall has negatively impacted my quality of life and health. I am looking forward to the change.
